nominated for a Swedish Grammy.

Johan Hedin is guest on the song Babyland (Conerlis Wresvijk)
on Tommy Körbergs new album “Sing till you drop”, released
in November 2012.

The French label Buda Musique released a live CD with musicians
Pelle Björnlert, Johan Hedin and Erik Pekkari. Buda Musique recorded
the trio’s performances at the Théâtre des Abbesses in Paris (2011).
Now they publish the whole concert on CD called Live Concert In Paris.

Award to Hazelius Hedin

Hazelius Hedin was awarded the “Group of the Year”-prize in the Swedish World and Folk MusicAwards (Världs och Folkmusikgalan) in Malmö ,March 31.

Silfver – new ensemble, new CD

This new ensemble has released it’s first CD also named Silfver. Release concert took place at Stallet in Stockholm in May 2012. Folk musicians Pelle Björnlert and Johan Hedin invite the baroque musicians Nora Roll and Sven Åberg to a musical feast. Pelle’s personal and dance-like fiddle playing meets Sven’s dexterous fingers on the lute. Johan’s heartfelt nyckelharpa playing is united with the warm bass of Nora’s viola da gamba.
